Mitzvah Bakery
Kicking off both the new school year and Rosh Hashanah, Congregation Shomrei Emunah held the 1st annual Shomrei Mitzvah Bakery. Envisioned and created by our new Rabbi David Greenstein - Shomrei's Mitzvah Bakery is equal parts fun, hands-on activities, community building, social action and Torah study that come together through the sacred act of baking challah and hiddur mitzvah.
It was the ideal opportunity to come together with friends after the summer, roll your sleeves up and take part in the baking of challah which will then be donated to a local food pantry.
