Program
All classes are at Shomrei, and are in-person.
Independent Study: directed independent study programs are also available for those with other commitments on Wednesdays or Saturdays.
Tuition
All tuition and fees are per child unless indicated. All programs offered are on an annual basis.

Shomrei Membership is Required
JLC tuition is fixed, but Shomrei’s flexible dues system lets you set your membership contribution. Tuition alone doesn’t cover costs—it’s subsidized by the congregation. We ask you to “pay it forward” by joining our community, ensuring each generation supports the next in Jewish education. Membership is required for enrollment.
Financial Aid
Need-based partial tuition scholarships are available. Apply confidentially via the online form; an interview with Shomrei’s Treasurer or VP of Finance is required.
Late Registration
Tuition will be prorated weekly for children registering after September.
Fees
All fees are due at registration and are non-refundable:
- Registration Fee: $150 per child
Payment Plans
- Lump Sum: Full payment due August 1 or upon registration.
- 2 Payments: Half due August 1 or upon registration; final payment due November 1.
- Monthly Installments: Payments start August 1 or upon registration, then monthly until February 1. Requires approval and automated credit card payments.
