The Little Minyan That Could

“The Little Minyan That Could” is celebrating its tenth anniversary this November.  It started when my father, Mike Leventer, passed away and I wanted to say kaddish in the  comfort of my own home with the support of the Shomrei community.  Never did I imagine that ten years later, we would still be meeting in our living-room, davening Maariv through the seasons and sharing life’s experiences with  each other on the first Wednesday of each month.

Please join us this coming Wednesday, September 5 at 7:30 PM as we usher in a new season at the home of Andy and Merrill Silver. Our service is user-friendly; we pray in English, Hebrew and silently.  We support our friends as they recite Kaddish. This year, you can even get a head start wishing people SHANA TOVA.

We welcome  newcomers and old-timers. Whether you come occasionally or regularly, we will have a seat and a siddur for you. I guarantee this 20 minute pause in your busy week will be a highlight.

RSVPs by phone (973- 783-0417) or email are appreciated.

Shana Tova and looking forward to seeing you on Wed. 9/5 and the first Wednesday of the month during the year.
