Project Isaiah Food Drive

Our Project Isaiah food drive produced a bountiful harvest for our community. With your incredible response we are able to support many groups in town. Many thanks to all of you for your generosity and kindness.

Melissa Perales of Family Promise came by to select items for the families in the shelter program:

The large cartons of food headed over to the Human Needs Pantry:

and the neatly arranged non perishables in the gift shop will serve as the foundation for Shomrei’s own Little Pantry … more to come on that very soon!

    Amanda Seeff-Charny is a long-time Shomrei congregant. She founded and still organizes the "Shomrei Shares" program - each year at Hannukah time, gifts and household goods are collected for financially struggling families. She lives in Montclair and works as Sr. Director, Public Policy and Professional Relations at Forest Laboratories, a NJ pharmaceutical company.
