The Shomrei Bridge Club is now a genuine going concern! This past week we had 5 players, including a student from the Adult School of Montclair bridge class from last fall. The bidding was lively, the play equally so, the wins exhiliarating and the (rather frequent) losses crushing. But chips and sodas helped buoy our spirits. (more…)

As a new student of the game, I’d like to invite community members who play bridge to form a synagogue bridge club. The goal is to find a mutually satisfactory day and time to get together for periodic low-key games of bridge. We could get together once a week, once or twice a month or on whatever schedule interested players would find convenient.
Optimally, I’d like the group to be open to all levels, but this will depend on who is interested.
