Jacob Lipkin is a fifth-year rabbinical student at the Jewish Theological Seminary, graduating in May 2026 with ordination, an M.A. in Hebrew Bible, and certification in Spiritual Care and Counseling. He is excited to return for a second year as Shomrei’s rabbinic intern, focusing on adult education, pastoral care, and lifecycle support. Jacob has served as a chaplain with older adults through the Jewish Association Serving the Aging, developed counseling and grief-support programs in the Bronx, and interned with Nativ, Cornell Hillel, and Camp Ramah. Originally from the Bay Area and a Stanford graduate, he lives on the Upper West Side with his wife, Shira, and loves Broadway, the outdoors, reading, and cooking vegan meals.
