Shomrei Preschool, Jewish Beginnings

We are a warm, nurturing community where learning is playful and fosters a child’s natural curiosity. Each child is celebrated as an individual, with our staff nurturing their unique gifts and helping them shine as contributors to our community.

Shomrei Preschool values the crucial first five years of life, recognizing their potential to shape a lifetime of achievement and meaningful milestones. Whether you’re seeking to make new friends, embrace the joys of Jewish holidays and traditions, or instill confidence in your child’s ability to explore, create, and learn, we are here to support your family’s journey.

Our students learn through hands-on experiences—touching, tasting, singing, painting, and exploring their world in natural ways. Play is a child’s first introduction to boundaries, socialization, teamwork, and imagination. In our classrooms, children engage in dress-up, block building, play dough sculpting, recipe mixing, and artistic exploration. Our teachers guide and facilitate play, encouraging questions, social interactions, problem-solving, and creative thinking, all in a supportive and joyful environment.

This 45-minute program includes songs, dancing, stories, a Torah parade, simple blessings, and challah and juice too! Bring your friends and meet other families with small children as we celebrate Shabbat! All are welcome, and synagogue membership is not required.
