Musicians Aged 10-110 Wanted for the Simcha Band!

IMG_1801

If you can read music or carry a tune, if you have a song in your heart and an instrument in your house, if you have previously played in the band or are joining us for the first time, the multi-generational Hanukkah Simcha Band welcomes you! Shomrei’s Annual Hanukkah Party is on Sunday, December 9 at 5:00 PM. The latkes, the communal lighting of our many Hanukkiyot (menorahs) and the Simcha Band are traditions at our synagogue!

Please share in the musical tradition. We love all musicians, including siblings and parents/children who make music together. We encourage you to come to our ONE AND ONLY band rehearsal on Wednesday, Dec. 5 at 6:00 PM. Plan on staying approximately one hour. Please let Merrill know if you can attend. If you cannot make the rehearsal but would still like to play at the party, please notify me so we know we can count on you. If you are new to the band, I can e-mail you the music so you can start practicing. Old-timers should have all the music. I will bring music to the rehearsal. Looking forward to seeing everyone at our rehearsal and at the Hanukkah party.

Performance: Sunday, Dec 9 at 5:00 PM
Rehearsal: Wednesday, Dec. 5 at 6:00 PM
