A women-only get-together. (sorry fellas)

Rachel Kanter and I were talking and came up with the idea to do a monthly “women and wine” get together. The idea would be that we women of Shomrei (sorry, women only) would have a monthly get-together at one another’s homes — for example on the first Thursday evening of the month — where the agenda would be wine, a little nosh, and a lot of female bonding. Everyone (with the correct chromosomes) is invited, and it would be up to us to step up and offer our homes. Guests would bring the wine: the hostess would need to provide the living room and some nosh. From 8 to 10. (Time to feed kids, if any, and leave them with husband, if there is one.)

No agenda other than fostering friendships.
