MESH Report March 15, 2022
Sarita Eisenberg and Shirley Grill teamed up to prepare this week’s MESH meal. The meal included fish in a yoghurt-mustard sauce with sides of rice and sesame noodles – leftover from the Feldman bar mitzvah on Saturday. There was also a salad of greens (also leftover from kiddush), tomato, cucumber, carrot, and corn.
Thank you to the Feldman family for contributing the leftover food. The meal bags also included sweet rolls and a nutrition bar from the Lehr-Hahn family, cookies baked by Hailey and Magda, clementines from Aileen Grossberg, and a bottle of water.
Many thanks to all!

About MESH:
The Carol Starr MESH Cafe at Shomrei (Montclair Emergency Services for the Homeless) is a cooperative effort between the MESH organization and local synagogues and churches. While in-person service has been discontinued, we are providing hearty, nutritious take-out meals for the hungry. Shomrei’s turn is on Tuesday nights. Please help fulfill this crucial mitzvah by volunteering to help with food preparation or bagging or by making a donation at: shomrei.org/donate.
