Shabbat Dinners at Shomrei – 20 and Counting!
Here’s what Oct, Nov, Dec has taught me:
People love to be invited to dinner at someone’s house
Take-out pizza and Shabbat dinner are not incompatible
If you ask, we can often find an extra seat at someone’s table
Life with kids is hectic.
Most people need encouragement to get over the hump
Here’s what I’m asking:
If you’re already having Shabbat dinner sometimes, have it on the 4th Friday too.
If you can’t even imagine where to start, reach out and let’s talk about it.
If you have Shabbat dinner every week, open your table to new people.
If the kids are running in a million directions, just light the Shabbat candles.
If you’re a Shabbat dinner veteran and you want to coach some newbies, email us.
