From Captain Shirley Grill:

Delicious meal, prepared by John Lasiter and Sam, served to 21 guests. Meal began with a fresh salad and bread, followed by a colorful dish of baked chicken on a bed of  garbanzo beans and tomatoes.

mesh 2 2016 apr 5Dessert was the biggest hit…”Pan au chocolat” made in Shomrei’s kitchen. There were extra desserts for the hard working volunteers:  Shomrei’s teens: Gus, Matt,  Amalia and our MESH and MSU partners–Adrienne,  Shannon and Lexie.

 

All in all, a sweet night at Shomrei.

A past President and head of the JLC, she's currently co-charing Shomrei's IHN efforts in housing homeless families. She remains involved "ex-officio" in the strategic planning of the Preschool and JLC.
