Mesh Cafe June 21, 2016

For the first time since we began last September, we were unable to provide a home cooked meal to our MESH guests and we needed to order in from a caterer. Our captain was not feeling well and had to cancel out at the last minute.
Aileen is in Charleston at a conference and I had another commitment. Oy Vey! I stopped by at 6:15 pm to check on things and I’m happy to report that all was in order. Very new adult volunteers, Erin Berman and Susan Rosenblatt had graciously rolled up their sleeves and with the able assistance of our wonderful custodian, Carlos, our amazing teens and top notch MESH staff, I was reassured that we were in good hands. The plan was for dinner music provided by some of our talented Shomrei teens. I can’t wait to hear all about it!

Reminder: next week is the final MESH Cafe for the season. We will resume again in September.
