Teen MESH Report
This week was the final Teen MESH for the school year.
Thank you Jordan, for not only leading Teen MESH but taking it to the next level by creating PLATE (Providing Local Aid to End Hunger), an official Montclair High School club. Jordan and PLATE never missed a month of dedicating their time to cook and pack meals for 50 guests.
This week PLATE, Jordan, Seena (who is a regular) and Delia prepared a Mediterranean inspired meal; fresh made salmon burgers and pasta salad. Collin, who also has been our monthly cookie contributor, provided the dessert. And as a special treat, STOM also baked cookies for MESH as their final year project. This was packed with a tangerine, protein bar, and a bottle of water.
A huge thank you to;
Amy Rabinowitz for being our faithful shopper
Susan Rosenblatt and June Zimmerman for doing the final packing
Lynne Kurzweil for delivering the bags to the Office
From Chef/Teen MESH Advisor Fern Heinig

Shomrei provides 50 meals to MESH on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of each month. We need volunteers to help prepare and pack the food.
For those interested in volunteering who are not available on Tuesday afternoons, we are brainstorming different ways to make it work. Let us know what would work for you.
Additionally, each Monday afternoon, we deliver any usable food leftover from Kiddish to MESH.
Volunteer at the MESH Site
Volunteers are also welcome to help serve food 6 nights a week, Monday through Saturday, 4:30-6:30 pm at the MESH site, 619 Bloomfield Ave, Montclair.
