We had our first Teen MESH of the year.
We decided to go with tried-and-true for our first Teen MESH of the year. The dinner bags were packed with: Salmon burgers on buns, Tzatziki sauce, Rice Pilaf Mediterranean salad, Cookies, Protein bar, Tangerines, and Water.

Congregants Fern Heinig and Dale Russakoff are active participants in Social Action at Shomrei. Fern Heinig is a frequent volunteer cooking for Shomrei’s MESH Cafe and spearheaded Shomrei’s first annual Mitzvah Day last year in 2024. Dale Russakoff is the organizer of Shomrei’s Mensch Squad and chairs the Board of Family Promise. (more…)
This week was the final Teen MESH for the school year.
Thank you Jordan, for not only leading Teen MESH but taking it to the next level by creating PLATE (Providing Local Aid to End Hunger), an official Montclair High School club. Jordan and PLATE never missed a month of dedicating their time to cook and pack meals for 50 guests. (more…)
Shomrei Emunah had our first Mitzvah Day. Members, of all ages, participated together, in a truly multi-generational day. The adults were fueled by mimosas and the kids by pure enthusiasm. (more…)
