Welcoming Melissa Mehl, Operations Manager
Join us in welcoming Melissa Mehl! Melissa will serve as Shomrei’s Operations Manager. After a week of on-boarding with Ehud, she starts full time on May 19th and will be in charge of all day-to-day operations and administration.
Melissa has had a long career as an Executive Producer of major events, shows and large spectacles. She brings significant experience in managing large projects, budgets, and staff; as an Executive Producer her responsibility was to ensure that each project was a memorable event—requiring deep organizational skills.
Melissa also knows our community well as a Shomrei member and preschool/JLC parent. She started at Shomrei with toddler time in 2019, just before Covid. Melissa has been an active volunteer at Shomrei—she has demonstrated her organizational and creative skills in her work on Art Mazel and is frequently seen in the school as an energetic parent volunteer. When not at Shomrei, Melissa will most likely be found at a soccer field (for her son).
