The Shomrei Preschool PTO (Parent/Teacher Organization) ran a fundraiser at Cyclebar as part of a series of upcoming events in support of the new playground. Cyclebar, a cycling studio in Montclair, let us fill a private class with our fundraising parents, alumni and staff. We also sold 60 custom t-shirts prior to the ride that raised additional funds.

In support of their rides, the Shomrei team started a GoFundMe fundraising campaign and asked for donations from friends and family for the weeks leading up to the big day. The event was a resounding success, with over $10,000 dollars raised! Awards and prizes were given out following the ride. Congratulations to the winners: Top Fundraiser: Margot Laskin. Top Riders: 1st place Jason Glick, 2nd place Aaron Task, 3rd place Eric Hamburg. Stay tuned for more ways to get involved to support our playground!
